🌿 This Week from The Vibrant Sage: Boundaries, Bliss, and a Little Chocolate

Not the rigid kind, but the kind that help us show up with love, clarity, and energy for what truly matters.

🍫Recipe of the Week: Turtle Candies (a crowd favorite!)

Okay, confession — these aren’t exactly The Vibrant Sage approved in the health department... but they’re pure happiness on a plate!
I brought them to a meeting last week, and let’s just say there wasn’t a single one left.

Ingredients (for 10 turtles)

  • 50 whole pecans
  • 10 soft caramel candies (unwrapped)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (guessing since I didn’t measure)
  • Optional: a sprinkle of sea salt

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Arrange pecans in small clusters (like little turtle “legs”) on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Toast pecans for about 4 minutes, just until fragrant.
  4. Place one caramel candy on each cluster and return to the oven for 6–8 minutes, until the caramel softens (watch carefully!).
  5. Let cool.
  6. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave, stir until smooth, and spoon over the caramel.
  7. Sprinkle with salt if desired and cool completely.

That’s it — start to finish in under 15 minutes. They will disappear fast!

Healthy boundaries don’t push people away — they bring us closer to what (and who) matters most.
🌿When you know what’s important to your highest good, your yes becomes stronger, and your no becomes peaceful.

Take a few minutes this week to reflect:

  • What are you saying yes to that no longer aligns?
  • What is your body telling you that your mind might be ignoring?
